1 High-speed performance and enhanced features：
· The module has speeds of up to 1000 megabits per second and provides the best scanning performance when paired with the 1756-L7x controller in the two chassis.It also has enhanced safety features and interference-free diagnostics to help reduce troubleshooting time.
2 Redundant design：
· The 1756-RM2 uses redundant fiber optic ports to ensure that there is no single point of failure.During channel switching, the processing chassis can remain synchronized, and the scanning time may experience a delay of about 10 milliseconds.In addition, it supports redundant controller architecture without additional programming. The program will automatically cross-load from the main controller to the slave controller to ensure that the main controller can be converted to the slave controller without impact in the event of a failure, ensuring the execution of high-priority functions.
3 Network management and protocol support：
· This module supports SNMP v1/v2c/v3 management, VLAN, QoS, IGMP Snooping and other network protocols, as well as RSTP, STP and other network protocols, which can efficiently manage network traffic and ensure stable data transmission.
4 Easy to configure and use：
· The 1756-RM2 can easily connect to PLC equipment and other network equipment by configuring the IP address, opening the Ethernet interface, setting network parameters, and configuring the Ethernet module.
